Weaving with Shapes for TEENS

Grades 6-12. Learn tapestry weaving basics with a focus on weaving organic, colorful shapes throughout your piece. You'll learn to warp your loom and finish your weaving while using a tapestry needle to create planned or intuitive shapes throughout! Materials provided. Collaborator: Textile Center. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Create personalized stencils and stamps using everyday materials that can easily be recreated at home. Print your favorite stencil on a tote bag – perfect for carrying library books or everyday items. Tote bags and other materials provided, and you are welcome to bring additional cotton items they'd like to print, such as a T-shirt! Collaborator: Textile Center.
